31st August!!Independent day at St.Aloysius

31st of August!!!this is a day when all the Malaysian celebrate the big event where we as a Malaysian reach an independent....Merdeka!!Merdeka!!Merdeka!!
So this year the 31st August is a kind of special due it fall on Sunday.So,try to imagine what it will be when it fall on the same day.Yes,absolute interesting and fun.Why?well,we got holiday for independent day and the mass are also special.
On this day,the mass were held on 7.30am by Rev.Fr.Jasery and were leads by the Women League.A song of "Negaraku" also been sang for this day during the mass.What a special occasion....

Oh God!!!Tragedy!!

First day of the SYD-2(19/08/08),all the Penampang Youth had gather at Penampang Sport Complex around 12pm waiting for busses that had been chartered.
Around 12.50pm,a prayer before going to Ranau had been done lead by Mr.Meo.
1pm-all the participants ready to go!!but not for me,need to buy reload coupon asked by Leslie.Oh man,waste my time....
1.40pm-Yeah!!!even i drove my car 30 minutes late than the busses,we catch up with them at Tamparuli.Catch up with all the 5 busses and now just followed them at their tail.Because even I don't know where is Kg.Kibbas which is suppose to be the place for us Penampang Youth are,so hopefully by following them,we will reach the same place.
1.55pm-Now,the road are going uphill,tired so when to sleep in car and switch driver with me by Eric@Bunto.
3.20pm-The first bus we followed stop for rest at a stop pit.Rest for about 30 minutes before we go on.
4.00pm-We reach Kundasang.move on move on....
4.30pm-Here is the Main part!!!!Accident occurs!!!we were about 1 car behind the bus we followed early when it go for downhill.The bus driver try to slow down by braking but it did't work so try to use hand brake but also failed.So,I think the bus driver use the gear to slow it down because we can heard the sound of gear box cracking from our car.Suddenly,when it reach a S pin corner,the bus almost struct a taxi,but however the taxi driver avoid it...thank godness!!!but,it did't stop there,the bus hit a lorry in front of it and luckily the bus stop and went to the side of the road after it hit the lorry.OMG!!!when we saw the insident,We who were at tail of the bus rush out from our car to check them out.Smoke came out from the bus,thanks god NO ONE WERE HURTS DURING THIS INCIDENTS.....here the senario.

St. Aloysius Gonzaga

SAINT ALOYSIUS GONZAGAJesuit Seminarian(1568-1591) Saint Aloysius, the eldest son of Ferdinand Gonzaga, Marquis of Castiglione, was born on the 9th of March, 1568. The first words he pronounced were the holy names of Jesus and Mary. When he was nine years of age he made a vow of perpetual virginity, and by a special grace was always exempted from temptations against purity. He received his first Communion at the hands of Saint Charles Borromeo. At an early age he resolved to leave the world, and in a vision was directed by our Blessed Lady to join the Society of Jesus. The Saint’s mother rejoiced on learning his determination to become a religious, but his father for three years refused his consent. At length Saint Aloysius obtained permission to enter the novitiate on November 25, 1585. He pronounced his vows after two years, and studied, as was customary, philosophy and theology. A fervent penitent at all times, he was accustomed to say that he doubted whether without penance grace could continue to make headway against nature, which, when not afflicted and chastised, tends gradually to relapse into its unredeemed state, and thereby loses the habit of suffering. “I am a crooked piece of iron,” he said, “and have come into religion to be made straight by the hammer of mortification and penance.” During his last year of theology a malignant fever broke out in Rome. The Saint offered himself for the service of the sick, and was accepted for the dangerous duty. Several of the religious contracted the fever, and Aloysius was among them. He was at the point of death but recovered, only to relapse a little later into a slow fever, which after three months his fragile health could no longer resist. He died at the age of twenty-three, repeating the Holy Name, a little after midnight between the 20th and 21st of June, on the octave day of Corpus Christi.

The Fifteen Promises of Mary to Christians Who Recite the Rosary

1.Whoever shall faithfully serve me by the recitation of the rosary, shall receive signal graces.

2.I promise my special protection and the greatest graces to all those who shall recite the rosary.

3.The rosary shall be a powerful armor against hell, it will destroy vice, decrease sin, and defeat heresies.

4.It will cause virtue and good works to flourish; it will obtain for souls the abundant mercy of God; it will withdraw the heart of men from the love of the world and its vanities, and will lift them to the desire of eternal things. Oh, that souls would sanctify themselves by this means.

5.The soul which recommend itself to me by the recitation of the rosary, shall not perish.

6.Whoever shall recite the rosary devoutly, applying himself to the consideration of its sacred mysteries shall never be conquered by misfortune. God will not chastise him in His justice, he shall not by an unprovided death; if he be just he shall remain in the grace of God, and become worthy of eternal life.

7.Whoever shall have a true devotion for the rosary shall not die without the sacraments of the Church.

8.Those who are faithful to recite the rosary shall have during their life and at their death the light of God and the plenitude of His graces; at the moment of death they shall participate in the merits of the saints in paradise.

9.I shall deliver from purgatory those who have been devoted to the rosary.

10.The faithful children of the rosary shall merit a high degree of glory in heaven.

11.You shall obtain all you ask of me by the recitation of the rosary.

12.All those who propagate the holy rosary shall be aided by me in their necessities.

13.I have obtained from my Divine Son that all the advocates of the rosary shall have for intercessors the entire celestial court during their life and at the hour of death.

14.All who recite the rosary are my son, and brothers of my only son Jesus Christ.

15.Devotion of my rosary is a great sign of predestination.
